Ralph Lister, Dive In Host

Ralph Lister, Dive In HostA UK-trained classical actor, for 15 years before arriving in Hollywood, Ralph was busy in business and on stage, chalking up credits from all over the world in his native home of London, and in Madrid, Hong Kong, Edinburgh, and New Orleans. What attracted his attention to Dive In was the show's focus on the joy of scuba-diving.

Ralph himself first experienced the rush of this thrilling sport as a twelve year old when diving off the coast of Kenya, and the world of scuba has thrilled him ever since. Ralph has dived whenever his travels have allowed - he's come face-to-face with some of the world's biggest fish and been awed by some spectacular reefs and shipwrecks with dives off the coast of Bali and the islands of the Philippines.

In addition to hosting Dive In, Ralph has also co-hosted Discovery Channel's Three Perfect Days… series and the celebrity interview program Star Views. Ralph has also acquired extensive film acting credits, with heavy-hitting roles in independent pictures Ancanar, Grinding Steel, Jewel Of The Sahara, Coercion, and Walk On In Darkness. You may also have caught him appearing on ABC's daytime soap opera Port Charles, or heard him as the narrator of historical documentary A Century Of Conflict for PBS. Ralph specializes in character roles, particularly comedic, and his many voices and accents can be heard in Japanese animé features 3x3 Eyes and Amazing Nurse Nanako (both now out on DVD), as well as in regular commercial work. Most recently on stage in Los Angeles at the Lee Strasberg Institute in new play Canada Lee, Ralph is booked to play Father Danté in upcoming independent period feature Versailles, filming late summer. Ralph likes nothing better than sitting on his balcony with friends, enjoying the sunset and an ice-cold martini.

Debra A. Hill, M.D., Executive Producer

Debra A. Hill, M.D., Executive Producer Debra's love of the ocean began when she was a little girl and would go to La Jolla with her favorite aunt. They would search the beach for seashells and ride the waves together on an inflatable raft. She says she will always remember the smell of the salt air and sound of the waves crashing-which continue to draw her today to an even deeper involvement with the sea. She had a dream back then to someday dive like the divers at Seaworld right in the exhibits with the fish! Well, her dream began to develop into a reality when she started her scuba diving training in 1993. She pursued training classes one right after the other to the level of instructor and beyond. She has served as a civilian volunteer diver for the LA County Sheriff Search and Recovery Divers. Debra writes a regular column for the South Orange County Dive Club Newsletter each month aptly named "Ask Dr. Deb". To view these articles, visit www.socdc.com. She is also presently a volunteer diver, and scientific diver, at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California, where at last her dream of diving with the fish like the Seaworld divers has come true.

Her desire to share her love of diving and the underwater world lead her to pursue underwater videography and to produce this television series. Debra has always enjoyed the deeper aspects of the world and all it has to offer, and as such she does a second kind of diving which is diving into the mind, through her work as a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in private practice in Irvine, California. Debra feels there are many kinds of diving, each with their own appeal-and that anyone can pursue these various kinds of diving. All it takes is desire, enthusiasm, and training. And for those of you that may not get to experience the full range of underwater adventures on your own, Debra hopes that DIVE IN will serve as your eyes and ears into the incredible underwater world. As the Executive Producer of DIVE IN, Debra would like to invite you to DIVE IN!

Robert Titus, Co-Producer, Director of Photography and Underwater Camera Videographer

Robert Titus, Co-Producer, Director of Photography and Underwater Camera Videographer Bob grew up in Ohio and spent his summers in Florida. But in fact his love for the underwater world began at age 10 with his first experience of putting on a scuba mask when swimming in the local community pool. He was amazed that what had appeared blurry when he'd opened his eyes underwater, was suddenly clear when looking through the glass of his mask! From then on he loved free diving and went every chance he could get. In 1985, two years after graduating with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, he furthered his love of the underwater world through his first scuba diving class.

Once certified as a basic diver he kept taking classes and was active in the South Orange County Dive Club where he met Debbie. They met the night he was the Club Speaker and presented on his recent Cave Diving courses in Florida and the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. She was enthralled with his underwater video of the caves and soon pursued Cave Diving certification herself. Later the two became NAUI Scuba Instructors together in 1995.

Bob had mastered several kinds of diving including nitrox and tri-mix diving and found himself drawn to the challenge of underwater videography. He loved capturing on tape the amazing creatures and underwater vistas he witnessed on his dives to be able to share with fellow divers and non-divers too! Being the engineer that he is, he is fascinated with how to efficiently bring along the required lighting for his underwater shots and he's therefore designed several of his own underwater lighting systems and waterproof battery packs. He is constantly experimenting with new lenses, lighting, and stabilization techniques in order to capture the best possible image on tape. He wants to share with the world what he actually sees down there!

As a lover of adventure and serendipity, he and Debbie clicked right away. After nine years together they sealed their commitment to each other through a traditional Masai Wedding in Tanzania on December 19, 2002. They felt Tanzania was a fitting location to begin their new married life together as it is the place where mankind began. Their adventures continue as they plan to shoot future shows in Hi Definition with the new Sony HD-DV Camera.
