Dive In News - June 2007
ScubaRadio.Com Has First Session With The Scuba Shrink, Dr. Debra Hill, MD, Psychiatrist,
Scuba Diver And Creative Producer Of Ocean Video Productions.
Live At The Long Beach Scuba Show 2007 Greg The Dive Master, Radio Personality And Host of ScubaRadio.Com,
Dives Deeper Into The Mind Behind Dive In TV.
During
a classic ScubaRadio.Com interview,
Dive Master Greg Holt unmasked the scuba diving MD to discover that she does two kinds of diving - into the mind
and onto the sea. As a Psychiatrist and accomplished Scuba
Diver, Dr. Debbie has experienced all kinds of depths from the patients in her practice to the exotic and remote
underwater locations of Fiji, Indonesia, Truk Lagoon, Bikini Atoll, Belize and the Cenotes (freshwater caves) of the
Yucatan Peninsula.
Dr. Debbie talks about the current happenings of Ocean Video Productions: Dive In TV -
The Ultimate Scuba Diving Show!
Dive In
V's latest and greatest DVD was revealed at the 2007 Scuba Show in Long Beach, CA. Clam Chowder for the
Scuba Diver's Soul: Real Stories told by Real Divers. The Clam Chowder DVD Series is a collection of
exciting, dangerous, funny and unusual Scuba stories that puts a new twist on Reality TV! Scuba divers
and non-divers alike can relate to the tales told in this truly unique and innovative DVD as both advanced and
newbie divers relive their underwater Scuba adventures.
"You Lived It, We Heard It, Now See It. Reality in the sea... Your story On DVD!"
Clam Chowder for the Scuba Diver's Soul creatively captures Dr. Debbie's belief that each person has
a worth while and unique story to tell. Comparing Scuba diving to superheroes, she discusses her
Batman Syndrome Theory of Scuba diving with Dive Master Greg. "Divers are all regular people with real
world jobs, but when we put on our Scuba gear divers transform into masked superheroes of the deep gliding
weightlessly through the underwater world".
Dr. Hill, a professional Underwater Videographer and Executive Producer of Ocean Video Productions, has
written, directed, produced, and hosted several underwater productions for DVD's such as Oceans Alive:
Marine Life of Catalina Island and Oceans Alive: Marine Life of Fiji. She has several underwater show
concepts in pre-production designed for various national networks that are currently being discussed for future shows.
Although a bit confused about what he does for a living, Greg the Dive Master asks Dr. Debbie for her analysis?
"Just get into the water, relax and find your passion in life" is considered the best prescription by the Scuba
Shrink to solve a lot of things.

DIVEIN TV to Produce Online Documentary During DEMA Show 2005
First-ever DEMA Show "Documentary" to be Filmed in Las Vegas and available to industry ONLINE later next month
Everyone wants to know what's happening at the DEMA Show, but as the show grows, it isn't easy to capture all of the important stories and news that happens on the show floor. A new company, DIVEIN TV hopes to solve some of these problems during DEMA Show 2005 in Las Vegas.
According to Producer and Host Debra Hill, "Everyone has something to share, a story to tell, a new product to introduce or an adventure to relive. That's what DIVEIN TV is all about. We're going to be at the DEMA Show talking to people about the show experience. We'll learn about new products. We'll talk about popular resorts and destinations. And we'll discovery what everyone's 'buzzing' about on the show floor. Our program won't take the place of being at DEMA in person, but it will be close!"
Hill, a NAUI Instructor and advanced technical diver, first got the idea for the DIVEIN TV documentary earlier this year. She and her team went to the Scuba Show in Long Beach last summer and started talking to divers. What they discovered was a need for divers to be heard.
The same is likely to be said about DEMA Show exhibitors and attendees. The largest scuba diving trade show in the world, DEMA provides an exceptional place for industry "movers and shakers" to get together. DIVEIN TV will deliver a "documentary style" presentation that captures the flavor and atmosphere of the DEMA show from many different angles.
The DEMA Show "documentary" will be available for viewing ONLINE at www.divein.tv later in October.
For more details and to schedule an interview, call Debra Hill at (714) 308-0282 or send an email to debra@divein.tv.
